I just weighed in at 343, so I am officially down 13 lbs for the month of June, and 43 lbs since my surgery.

For breakfast I had an egg sandwich that I shared with my daughter. and for lunch I had two fork fulls of chicken salad. I felt kind of gross after breakfast. I’m still getting used to my new capacity. My eyes are definitely bigger than my stomach.

I love the way food tastes, but I get filled up very easily. This is a good thing, but it takes a lot of getting used to. I’m still not 100% there. So normally I would order a breakfast hero with bacon, cheese, eggs and sausage. After finishing that, I’d still be hungry. Today I had most of a small sandwich on a roll with just 2 eggs. I couldn’t finish it. I was full for hours. Actually, I felt a little sick after eating it. Like I was overly full. Like when I used to leave those all-you-can-eat Brazilian steak houses. You’d have the meat sweats. I felt like that after my little egg sandwich.

I don’t feel like a slave to food anymore, but I need to get a better handle on what and how much I can eat. Generally I’m good in terms of eating healthier foods, but how much is where I’m still running into problems. I’ll keep you posted.
