I’m big on the cardio. I lift some weights too, but it’s not the focus of my workouts. I generally like to hit the heavy bag. Like swimming, it’s a full body workout.
I downloaded a boxing timer ( this one ). It’s free. 3 minutes boxing, 1 minute rest. I’m doing about 5 rounds before doing some light weight lifting.

I used to lift heavy weights, and I grew a lot of muscle mass. These days I’m trying to get smaller and fit. I’ve found that building mass in my old age isn’t something that is going to be helpful. Light weights, 10 to 15 reps. I push out a few sets before leaving the gym.
