Hi – I’m down to 356 lbs now. I’ve lost 30 lbs since my surgery 23 days ago and 52 lbs since my max weight! I saw my doctor a few days ago and he was pleased with my results. I’m supposed to be on Stage 3 of my diet for a few more days, but I kind of advanced myself. I was at a wedding and had a little fish and some salad. I’ve slowly started integrating small amounts of regular food into my diet and haven’t had any problems. I’m chewing a lot and eating very slowly. I haven’t had any issues with my digestion, but I’m generally not hungry. Today I had a protein shake for breakfast, and two chicken nuggets and a slice of turkey for lunch. I’m generally in-taking between 400 and 600 calories a day (give or take). The protein shakes are good in that I can easily regulate how much I intake, and they fill me up.
I found out from my doctor that the expected weight loss is about 2 lbs a week for the first year.
