I weighed in at 290 today. While this is the same weight as last week, I started seeing 289 appear on the scale once in a while. I still weigh in (twice) every day, but I only post here once a week. So .. last week I was seeing numbers like 290/293/294/295 .. this -past week I was seeing numbers like 289/290/291/292/293 .. I wasn’t going up as far as 294 or 295. When I see this, I know I’m trending downwards. In another few weeks, I hope to be firmly entrenched in the 280’s and leave the 290’s behind. It would probably go a bit faster if the state wasn’t quarantined because of the Covad-19 virus (Corona Virus). I haven’t gone into the office in a few weeks and I’ve been picking at snacks here and there. Nothing crazy, but a handful of grapes, or a slice of cheese add up if you do that a few times in a day. It’s boring here and I need to escape eating out of boredom . So .. I’m back in the saddle again today. Just had some eggs, 1 cup of cottage cheese, and a small sandwich today (so far) .. I’m going to have some chili later tonight for dinner. Chili is not bad for you. Low carb!!!
I hurt my knee a few days ago when I was running with my daughter in the back yard. While I hurt my knee, it was unrelated to weight. I tripped over a dip in the lawn. Either way, a year ago I never would have been able to run with my daughter. I’m making plans to start running with my son (he’s 6 so he’ll take his bike). Because of the quarantine, they’ve also closed up the gyms. I miss working out and I want to live a healthier lifestyle. This also was something that was difficult to imagine a year ago.
