weigh in was 306 today. It looks like I am the same as I was just 5 days ago, however my weight is trending downwards. While last week my weigh in day was the same as it is today, I was floating between 309 and 306 .. Now I’m floating between 304 and 306, so .. trending downwards.

Still having my protein shakes, still getting to the gym. I’ve been terrible with my vitamins, so I have to get back on that program. I’m going to decrease my snacking (I call them micro-snacks – a hand full of grapes or trail mix once in a while). While I’m not eating badly now, I know that my metabolism is at an increased rate – and that will last until about May I’m told. I want to get used to eating less before then. I also want to maximize my weight loss before my metabolism adjusts. I’m afraid of adding weight again. I’m going into that period with a plans to give myself a 5 lb float – but any more weight gain than the 5 lbs, and I’m doubling up on the protein shakes as meal replacements in order to not gain weight.

I expect that within two weeks, I’ll be below 300 lbs. fingers crossed.
